The Appennine central part from the Bocca Serriola up to the Bocca di Forli, through which we pass from the valley of Volturno to that of Sangro. Located between one side to another and between the various chains, crossing large that we can find are: Bocca Trabaria, Bocca Serriola, Pass Scheggia, the Pass Fossato di Vico, the Valico of Colfiorito, the point of Forca Canapine, Pass Torrita, Passo delle Capannelle, the Horn of Saddle between the Conca Reatina and Conca Aquilana, Bocca di Forli or Pass Rionero, among Volturno and Sangro. This part of section is divided into two sections, the Apennines Umbria and Marche-Abruzzi mountains.
